In 2011, I created Integrative Healing from what was a vacant office and some inspiration. Feeling dejected in finding a place to work that embodied my ethics and vision, I took a risk. Originally, it was a place where I could offer my bodywork and also teach intimate classes in mask making, yoga, and herbal arts. It soon expanded into a space that could other practitioners too. In 2012, Angela Tirrell came on board as a resident muralist + consultant. She was integral in transforming the space into the "blank canvas," that helped it reach its potential as a “wellness collective.” The success of this venture, is what birthed Zen Lot to come.

Bringing music, kava ceremonies and herbal workshops created the" community feel" that completed the vision I had for this studio in so many ways -- one that included a holistic vision of health + wellness. Rather than something you "do," and your good, wellness for me is a way of living + being not just with yourself, but with community too.
