“The women whom I love and admire for their strength and grace did not get that way because shit worked out. They got that way because shit went wrong, and they handled it. They handled it in a thousand different ways on a thousand different days, but they handled it. Those women are my superheros.”
About Jennifer
Jennifer began a career in the Healing Arts, nearly 20 years ago with her own healing journey. Later, after gaining some experience in the spa industry, she opened Integrative Healing: Your Creative Wellness Studio. The studio ran from 2011 —2016, until she expanded the studio and relocated to a larger space, Zen Lot .
Located in the Carneros Center of Napa, Zen Lot had a two-year run until Jennifer closed in December 2018.
As the landscape of Napa changed after the 2017 fires, along with some other unforeseen challenges with the new location, Jennifer decided to let go of a brick and mortar business model, and opted for a mobile business. She couldn’t know how preemptive her move would be, as within two years the greater world would be forced to make similar decisions.
After taking some time for a sabbatical + an additional training in Bali, Jennifer returned 2019 and relocated to Santa Cruz, California. She taught yoga for a year there and worked to develop an AcroVinyasa community. After a sold-out AcroVinyasa Workshop for Valentines day 2020, the world closed within two weeks. With all work coming to a halt, she decided to let go yet again. Grateful she had already let go of the studio, she found the lack of stability in work lent itself perfectly for inner work. She leapt and the net appeared. After a fruitful summer living on a permaculture farm in Little River, south of Mendocino, Fall of 2020 took her to Mount Shasta. Situated in a sweet community north of mountain, she spent the next couple of years studying energy medicine with a local instructor, participating in lodge ceremonies, completing an on-line Gestalt Inquiry training with two of her favorite instructors from Esalen, and focused on learning the Harmonium and cultivating a daily chanting practice.
Poised in one of the most powerful energy centers in the world, Jennifer also used her time of solitude to write, committed to her own healing journey, and developed her herbal business Herbal Evolution Revival. She continues to cultivate gardens several areas including Ashland + Napa. She travels where the wind blows her for work (and to continue working with many of her beloved clients, whom she’s built meaningful connections with over the past 20 years) and is developing retreats in Mount Shasta.
